Shocked Am I…self-preservation
Selfish Motives…
Shocked I am,
by the realization of what people will do
to protect their delusions of self,
a world of skewed reality
where the apex result is gain,
and no matter the hurt as consequence,
the path resolute and justified.
Shocked I am,
by the malicious deeds of self preservation,
the extent to which lies are forced as truth,
to exact pain and circumstance
that embraces these lies,
to uphold the delusion,
regardless of preposterous claims.
Shocked am I,
that so many others believe lies
to vent their own rage,
their own desperate righteous paths,
that make them feel better about their ineptitude,
their deficiencies, their victim mentality,
so they can feel superior amid blaming.
Shocked am I,
that karma is never fast enough
to strike these malicious people down
in the wake of their vindictive affronts,
rather the damage can be done with accusation alone,
and innocents fall to lies,
shocked as I from those once thought allies.
Shocked am I,
to know the extent of human affliction,
the dark and deeply attested hatred within,
where self becomes singular in importance,
and all else falls to an acceptable loss,
just to maintain a delusional
that hopes to elevate a wanting self.

It definitely is shocking just how many people will jump on the ‘negativity and liars wagon’ when it rolls by. Unhappy with their own self, their own life, they feel it necessary to dump on the one who has been wronged. Truth shall prevail, Tony. The innocent shall be victorious.
That’s what I believe too, its karmic and the result of the natural laws of balance. These people can sure make life difficult though. Take care.
