Nature’s Furrowed Brow

Natures Furrowed Brow…the task ahead

Nature's Furrowed Brow
Nature’s Furrowed Brow…life anew

Winter sweats in anticipation of season’s end,
as spring the labor of an arduous task,
and while life awaits that season’s swing,
from seeming death to abundance, bring,
nature’s brow is furrowed deep
wakened from a deep long sleep,
and now to drive the world anew.

A yawn, a hesitation taken,
a few trial days to awaken the land
to new beginnings,
growth from fertile dreams, in wait,
and that beaming face of sun’s sweet grace,
to remember clear skies
and the warmth of change to make.

Perhaps a burden this pendulum swing of life,
or even just cycles of flow and rest,
but nature behests the movement
and accepts the effort of this our seasons,
to find beauty in every single change,
and the range of extremes
that remind us what we have in being.
