Twisted Mind…everyone to blame

The delusions of a malicious mind…

Twisted Mind
Twisted Mind…everyone to blame

How vile the words of a twisted mind,
so deluded and in blame to frame their kind,
so they believe,
yet tis they whose delusion is fed as truth
and all others just see the ruse;
the pain within them, who unleash this hurt
transferred to others as cause,
and they the victim of last resort.

Delusion is a fractious messenger,
finding what is bereft in those deluded, they
find the blame in others to placate
the incessant pain within;
and so truth, smeared like excrement upon a wall,
is thrown to their target, hoping it will stick,
for they cannot be wrong,
their delusion so neatly embedded.

How they hurt and destroy what a lifetime has nurtured,
just because they cannot be wrong,
yet they are so twisted up inside,
and no matter what they do, it is for self,
and love is an ideal unknown,
as their self-centered lives reflect their insecurities,
their delusions and blame
the cover of a wanting life.

Oh wretched soul, you bleed so profusely,
yet with someone else’s blood,
and cry victim for all your malicious affronts,
caused by you, manipulated by you,
and you are an obvious reflection of your primordial self,
swollen yet empty,
you can never see the truth, ever,
because you have trained yourself to accept your lies.

How profound my friend. There is so much truth in your words. I’ve lived through lies and untruths, most of the past 20 years, as a result, losing the love of 3 of my 5 children. Vindictiveness is a bitter pill to swallow when your world crumbles around you due to attacks on innocence. Many people in our world carry that heavy burden of a twisted mind and soul. Well expressed my friend, keep them coming.

Thanks Vincent, There is one such person in my family who has proven her true colors and hurt many. Glad you related; I guess we can relate as this happens with so many. Cheers Vincent and take care.

My gosh, Tony – I could have written a similar poem about a member of my family who has been a bane for me most of my life. So, I relate and understand where you are coming from. You expressed this issue so very well.

Thanks Phyllis, my ex wife is the subject of this work, as she just, after a lifetime of being unconditionally supported by her mother, blamed her for everything that’s wrong in her life. She was so malicious its taken days just to calm her Mum down. She is so utterly disappointed and will never forgive this betrayal. I can understand that. Thanks Phyllis.

My goodness you are on a roll, another great expression of the twists and turns of dishonesty, clearly you have experienced the mayhem caused by an individual’s intent upon preserving their own selfishness missions, all others left with the aftermath. Ugh. Sad, but well conveyed, my friend.

    Best,
    Mel

I do hate it when someone selfishly causes such disharmony for their own ends, the collateral damage is always significant. When something like this effects me I have to write about it to get it out of my system and to more completely understand the truth of it. Thanks for your continued support my poetic friend. cheers!
