Reality in Question

Within the folds of time,
our linear perspective to understand
any one point in relationship to movement,
is limited to a single plane.
Yet this misunderstanding of time
cannot solve any enigma,
when time is relative to the perspective taken,
and we, clutching at straws, try to grasp.
Life indeed appears a vision of reality,
yet, what we see may not be as we observe,
rather a three dimensional hologram
from a two-dimensional plane.
What we see then,
in a multi-verse of configured atoms,
is neither solid nor any different
than a perceived void,
just different configurations in an illusion of sight and form:
like watching a movie
and the brain not knowing reality’s difference.
We may well be a video game
for some gaming intelligence,
writing scenarios of our lives to amuse themselves,
our understanding just a superficial rendering
of a pre-scripted reality.
Our ability to reason is our one downfall,
because we find logic the comforting placater of the unknown,
rather than see beyond the obvious,
to the fundamental realities of a brain, our sight
and what we conclude from the input.
In perspective,
our projections and implications of God and creation
may be so far from truth,
it reveals just how inept we are,
as reflections of light and energy,
perceiving a world of mist
and being the playthings of minds far removed from us.
Reality then is a leap of faith within humanity,
for we are lowly beings struggling to rise from a Petri dish,
and what we see is just as limited as what we think we know,
in this vaporous, elusive reality we call life.
Something to think about…
to jolt your assured thoughts of being.

Well … that ought to put a kink in the minds of some! Very deep thoughts you express here, Tony, it does indeed make one ponder. Well done.
Something to break free of what we accept as reality, and look to possibilities not thought. Glad you enjoyed it Phyllis.
