Beguiled…

She moved as if
the ebb and flow of waves within
did turn her hips in sway and sin,
her warm flesh the colour of want,
her smile piquant,
and those eyes so deep
a soul could be lost at sight.
With breast so pert,
and still in movement, alert,
as if the fruit of perfect flesh
did curve her body to silhouette,
pronounced and so beguiling,
no man could eyes avert,
not this one, this salacious beauty.
And as she stilled,
her shapely legs did hold her prize, so neat,
so eloquently, imbibed,
through silk as eyes did meet,
her luscious Y, no compromise,
and man’s heart and loins discreet,
did rise in temperature.
Oh, sadness prevail,
for all that a man cannot possess, assail,
for all the wanting and aching redressed
with nowhere else to go,
and pain if eyes relented then,
each image a memory of deepest sin,
yet pain enough to remain.
As she faded in distant haze,
and lingering so stirred with hopeful gaze,
unquenched and listless loss prevailed,
as male hearts sunk to new lows,
and she a smile as wide as earth,
knowing all her effect and worth,
did dawdle in her pleasure.

We men can be so weak and almost melt in the presence of such an exquisite beauty, and many such women know and exploit the power they possess. A well written and very descriptive poem, Tony.
Much appreciated John, glad you enjoyed it.
My goodness! Men! Such a very descriptive verse on the power of women. You bad boys! LOL Guess men never escape such power. Shows you are still young at … uhm … heart. LOL
Well done, Tony.
I don’t think anythings left that’s ‘young’ lol, but I do get feisty at times and write such poems. I guess nothing changes and women will always have that power over men.
