Our Memories of Small, Yet Tall, Delights

Our memories of the small, yet tall delights,

mountain sights

Our memories of the small, yet tall delights,

of treetops tipped with layers of icy frost,

of spectacular pine tree mountain sights,

of smoking chimneys blowing heat across

the lower cities with their brilliant lights,

of grassy spots not covered by snow, lost

in brilliance of the winters final flight,

of many nights, when I miss you the most.

These memories of me all wrapped in your arms,

so snuggled deep within your sweet caress,

so filled with happiness of humble charms

and covered, in love from our warmed nest.

Entangled around our endless moonlights,

our memories of the small, yet tall, delights.
