My Heart Flies
My world is plain and ordinary –
nothing special to it at all.
Then I see the sun on the horizon,
you appear and my heart flies.
My heart flies,
whenever you speak,
walk into a room
and call my name.
When you return,
when I’ve missed you
and I’ve been alone –
my heart beats only for your love.
When you take me in your arms,
far away where the clouds are
and the moon shines in the sky –
my happiness knows no bounds.
Every time you dance with me,
when you smile
and say you love me –
my heart takes to the skies.
My heart flies,
to greater heights –
whenever your eyes sparkle
and I know the secrets your heart holds.
Each day we’re together,
your hand in mine –
the world feels so divine
and my heart has sprouted wings.
My heart fli es,
through the starry skies.
Just knowing that you –
are in my life to stay.
So hold on tight,
never let me go.
Let’s love each other so
and my heart will fly –
shooting skyrockets far into the night.
