Veiled Sighs

Veiled Sighs …

veiled sighs

In darkest night,
when light avoids the shadows
and moon transcends the dotted velvet sky,
clouds sometimes dance on silvery edges,
passing plumes of veiled sighs,
while stars glimmer their echoed lives,
flickers born of remembrance.

And still the heart when seeking skies,
open vast and endless space assumed,
where cradled life begins and ends,
and beheld in awe of all commends
a warmth of knowing, to tantalize,
to embrace as truth without compromise,
in life’s rapturous arms.

All so complex the creation of being,
within this open canvas of life,
where veiled sighs and crystal nights
can evoke a love within our hearts
and abide by all we’re seeing,
to finds our paths and desires meant,
by this very sight inspired.

While every night is different, unique,
as if painted fresh each fall of day,
these flickering stars remind us all,
the depth of life’s memory saved,
from beginnings passed and endings begun,
each rise and fall of movements sum,
resplendent in its array.
