A Learned Right …

Never in doubt, the sun’s veiled dream,
to fall from sight in days all bound
by a sky’s grey lament, or so it seems,
and fear not its warmth and glow,
forever pervading skies, whether hidden or shown;
for skies all clothed in nature’s ware
may render self in plethora hues,
and vibrant blue not always used
to reveal that infinite truth.

Storms are but a breath exhaled in nature’s whim,
and pre-empt the blue and radiant shards
that will surely follow, ensue,
for light cannot the darkness fear,
and darkness will never disappear,
as stars shine in velvet ebony night;
and clouds excite a luminous moon
in waxing glow, delight,
to render life in parenthesis,
balanced upon a scale, a learned right.
