Connectivity by utilities

Layered in securities

Funded by annuities and equities

Wondering hold long it will survive

Suddenly no longer thrive

Economic collapse or viral pandemic

All around people getting sick

Concrete jungle crowds are thick

Chaos and more will follow

The concept too hard to swallow

Leaderless masses seek to follow

To lead you need a serious plan

Try your hand at living off the land

Find a place, a special place

Slip away without a trace

How far off do you want to go

Analyze the cons and the pros

This is real, not a show

Your ancestors seemed to do just fine

Sweating, working all the time

But they had a lot of skill

Want to eat, they had to kill

Getting sick without a pill

Weather, water, food, and light

On the watch, day and night

Trying hard to do what’s right

Winter’s coming, Be prepared

Little to eat, none to share

Closest help is who knows where

The jump sounds fun at first

But unless you’re prepared for the worst

You’all starve or die of thirst

So on the grid, most will stay

Won’t even save for the rainy day

Nature will make them pay

Unless they’ve stored some things away

Prepped as they say

Ready for doomsday
