Life’s Sweetest Melody
You came into my life
so suddenly like a sunbeam,
that came shining through the clouds above.
You filled my heart with love
and became my life’s sweetest melody.
When you took my hand
and looked into my eyes.
I knew that at long last
my lonely days were in the past.
Hand and hand when we stroll
through any kind of weather –
I know that you will always
shelter me from any storm.
Your laughter fills me with warmth
and my heart sprouts wings.
Suddenly I want to fly up high
to the sky and shout, that you
are my life’s sweetest melody.
Never thought that my life
would turn out so fine.
Never thought that one day someone
like you would be mine.
Your kisses fill me with desire
and set my soul on fire.
Days when we’re apart
are always gray and dreary in my heart.
So be there for me only and never, ever
leave me lonely.
Be my love for now and evermore –
my life’s sweetest melody.

Oh what a beautiful sensitive and romantic filled expression of love. To find someone who fills our nights and days with hunger for more, is but the closest feeling we can come to Heaven.
