Flow and Essence

Transfixed by the flow, not the essence,
life is seen as facets of bliss and pain,
yet that is not life’s will, its intention,
just the undulations of learning given
to find that essence and just learn to be.
Long have I endured the pain of life,
yet that holds not the reality, the reason,
for once the mind is freed from itself,
the souls aspires and being is all that’s needed,
not the lowly games of mortal shells.
To transcend the mundane physical apparel of a soul,
sight must convey its true intention,
and we in our seeking discover a souls plight,
not a life’s circumstance or status,
but a souls path to purity in expression.
The flow is just the movement of shuffling feet,
strewn in all directions,
but the soul’s movement is a straight line,
when a heart seeks the essence within,
and follows in ascension.
Learning is a necessary element of ascension,
yet without the focus on essence,
the game is lost to the mundane maintenance of living,
rather than the aspirations of higher expression
in mind and soul,
the given purpose of our being.
For me, that is the written word.

Very good Tony! Wow, this is much to my liking. How much more satisfying would life be if we followed the soul instead of human desire? This hit me really hard right now too because I have been of this very mindset for the last few hours and watching videos of angels or what people claim were angels appearing to them and one showing actual footage of what appears to be angels.

It is the soul above all else that allows that flow, for without it life is meaningless. It’s when we block the flow by all the afflictions that this world throws at us on a daily basis that our souls purpose is tarnished and perspective affected. Beautifully expressed Tony.
