Beauteous Path

Choosing the path of beauty,
we fill our lives with worth,
each moment a revelation, pervading our being,
and no matter the pain and obstacles of life’s course,
that perspective grounds a soul,
keeps purpose wholly vital,
an underlying foundation of stone.

The eyes of an artist see beyond shapes and colour,
see beyond the shallow expressions of the mundane,
and witness the spirit beneath,
the driving force of life’s reason,
to narrow all to the point of beauty,
to realize the action of love
in creation, in expression and what truly beauty is.

The eyes of a writer turns ink to colour,
find words that explode upon a page
like rainbows in the heavens,
and with delicate hand fashions meaning
clothed in glorious intention,
dreams alive in a mind attentive,
to find the heart of a reader.

Tis no easy quest, to journey a soul,
take words to create landscapes,
colour, form and emotions visited,
and all the while infusing the grace of life and beauty
in every phrase and expression,
until the reader’s heart is warm with intention,
and experience transcends just being.
