Sensory chimes acknowledge mind,
and the breeze of incoming serenity subdues
each and every thought pursued,
a pleasured, afferent fate;
and while I immerse in heaven’s dues,
I cannot but consume each breath,
with an ardour than imbues the soul.

While in sight the mind compels
those beauteous vows of life’s transparency,
each aspect my hearts delight and my soul uplifting,
when views are filled with truths untold;
while touch the very glimmer of sensitivity,
imbibed by all of my own tranquility,
as time stretches the line
between dream and the world.

And in this blissful embrace,
I can but know of all that nature, in nurture, says,
with every sense and knowing begs,
for a recognition of compliance;
and while my mind does fathom, all this existence fine,
the endless meter and rhyme,
that is sung in angel voices.

How small the daily concerns of mind,
when nature’s guile in states sublime,
does soothe those doubts and forgive those sins,
and the weight of life and everything;
instead the sight and feel of beauty
transcends the worries of pointless woe,
and for all of us to know,
just how perfect is life.

    Our lives are a series of choices – some good, some bad, but life is still wonderful and to be embraced. I like your last line, “instead the sight and feel of beauty transcends the worries of pointless woe, and for all of us to know, just how perfect is life.”

    Life with all its woes, sadness, death, wars, famine and carnage world wide. Life is still the most valued commodity we have, while here on this plane, we must cherish it, struggle with it and protect it with all our might. Man’s life is but a very short journey here, so to leave life behind and back to dust we will go. Let our spirits stay strong and follow us on our next journey. I value life completely, no harm do I want to scorn upon even the smallest insect. Every species is of value, let’s show our respect by not taking it’s life but uplifting it always. Choices indeed William, we ultimately make those choices, good or bad. Yes Tony life is perfect, it’s the imperfection of mankind that constantly try’s to destroy it. Very well penned my friend, gifted from your soul.

    Life certainly offers up challenges, Tony, but that is exactly how we should look at obstacle..challenges and embrace them, and overall life is wonderful. Much better than the alternative. Good poem.
