A State of Mind

A State of Mind …

All persuasions meet in afferent states,
lost from the judgement of difference,
and when beauty inspires and all relate,
hatred ceases to be.

This state of mind
that renders humanity sterile in purpose,
is the knife’s edge, a focus of intention,
never meant in our path of service,
a burden to our soul.

Sentient minds lost in pursuing
what separates our lives, in every aspect, is pointless,
when what brings us closer is far more forgiving,
and in sharing peace reigns.

Art in every form brings minds and souls to one place,
one experience shared as beings,
where beauty and love and hearts commend space,
for acceptance and recognized connection.

As music does not choose its adoration,
from one soul to another,
we should choose to accept one another as inspiration,
our union the collective of honour and respect.

We, of the same blood, one human form,
seek happiness and peace in living,
so why do we choose this blind state, minds torn,
when our differences are just the beauty of diversity,
and beauty is to be revered.

Indeed beauty is to be revered, yet we are unique creatures, not one alike. That’s the mystery of life, as much as scientists would like to clone us, they can never clone the soul. Thankfully we are diverse and we will remain that for all time. Peace and happiness is what comes from within, the world can’t do it for us. It’s too superficial, no adoration for humans, it’s cold and sterile. We are the ONES who can change the world, if we really want to, standing up and making a difference with help from fellow believers in virtue, honesty, kindness, and of course a deep LOVE for mankind, then we can be that difference. I enjoyed this poem my poet, you never fail to amaze me with your insight.

Thanks my friend, I always find it hard to believe that humanity goes out of its way to find ways to separate us into little boxes when, if could know how much better it would be to be as one, could solve all our contentions. Thanks for your kind words my friend.
