Expression
Creature comforts find pleasured rest,
yet what gives life direction is expression,
life shared, the outward flow of sentient manifestation,
in giving, thought and creativity.
What takes a mind from the mundane play of necessities,
uplifts both heart and soul, in consideration,
and the more creative, the more the expansion of ideas,
the greater the uplifting, the heart in untethered flight.
When minds meet in creativity, souls embrace,
and higher the thoughts in consequence,
as creativity opens love’s door,
for beauty is loves faceted reflection.
The stuff of creation, of life,
is readily accessible through all art and creative pursuits,
and one can give it names, perceive it differently,
yet in the end, love is the spark of creation,
and no matter what the expression,
creativity is a pure form of love.

I love your definition of creativity. How many times do we say “for the love of” and indeed it is for that love our passion flows forth. I love to LOVE all things, hate is stricken from my vocabulary. It is with love that I pursue writing or attempting the craft. My Muse offers up many things to pen about and it is the love that allows me to let it take over my mind soul and heart. I can see how much you LOVE writing as well Tony and thankful I am for you. Your words stir me often and show me just how important they can be to all of us writers who journey along.
A heartfelt thank you Vincent, I guess we all relate as we have similar thoughts on this love of ours. Writing to me is no just an art, a love, but the core of a spark that is life itself in creation.
