So Many Words

So Many Words

So many words, so many thoughts
Like wonderment and fascination,
So beautiful and adoration,
Moments shared in utter bliss
Lifetimes found in just one kiss
Journeys lost within your eyes
Mountains moved to open skies
Fancy flights and spinning round
So many words, without a sound
Soft of touch, they telegraph
Endless times, all filled with laugh
Fingertips across your skin
Emotions such, where to begin
Arms and legs, wrapped and random
Once alone, we’re now a tandem
The missing piece, the final part
Forever filled my beating heart
Think and think, so many words
A single voice is all I’ve heard
Whispers while we’re close at night
Lifts me higher, spirit light
Hand in hand we walk together
At last, I’m sure I found the treasure
Her love so strong, to equal mine
Together now, for all of time

I write about everything and sometimes nothing at all. I'm fascinated by old things, rusty things, abandoned places, or anywhere that a secret might be unearthed. I'm passionate about history and many of my pieces are anchored in one concept of time or another. I've always been a writer, dating back to my youth, but the last decade has been a time of growth for me. I'm continually pushing the limitations of vocabulary, syntax, and descriptive phrasing.
