Who are you?

It’s more than just what you do

The clothes you wear

Those things you share

Social groups and follower count

And certainly not your bank account

The CEO or average Joe

Shoulders rubbed or where you go

Forget the truck, forget the car

Relationships, even those that scarred

Your favorite color or favorite band

Type of jeans, despite the brand

Who are you?

All the hype you must cut through

How you like your coffee, even if it’s tea

Secrets held under lock and key

Hobbies, habits, or sports you play

Sleep at night, or sleep during day

Who you trust, and who you don’t

What you’ll try, and what you won’t

Food you crave, how much you save

Mansion, house, or just a cave

Activities define your gild position

Yet none reveal your true composition

Who are you?

It’s not a secret, just look for clues

You are energy, you are light

A source of power, shining bright

Reaching out, ahead, and past

Connections, true, come unsurpassed

You are knowledge, you are wisdom

A messenger of the common system

Every thought, and every voice

Explanations for a great rejoice

You are reason, living harmony

The bearer of the world conservancy

Lifting those who seek to rise

Leading ones with sightless eyes

Common sense, and understanding

Every soul with equal standing

You are invention, beyond the riddle

Strength discovered within the middle

Your circle wide, one that’s safe inside

Shoulder offered to those that cried

You are love, a worldly version

Spreading joy to every person

Serving others without remorse

Moments hard, but stay the course

You are laughter, and you are tears

Sometimes sadness, and other cheers

You are human, a breathing collection

Embrace the power of your imperfection
