Captain Elliott Spencer: by Jeff Andreis
Captain Elliot Spencer who became Pinhead
I am a wayward traveler of time and space
I was once human like you in this wretched place
I commanded a troop, held a captain’s rank,
during the Battle of the Somme, while the bodies stank
I now am an explorer of forbidden pleasures
Pleasures so costly, one cannot measure
Pain?
How dare you say the word “Pain”?
I am pain!
I am torture and pleasure!
I am…forever!
I am so…exquisitely empty!
For I am nameless,
I can be formless,
and come from a void,
so tremendously enormous
I’ll treat you with misery
I’ll treat with fear
Your apathetic-suffering,
my friends will endear
We’ll play on broken heartstrings
Together; you and I
The melody of misery
The pain that never dies
That inspiration of hope, we’ll wrench from your soul
As we proudly display, your body’s new role
We will make you unworthy,
while you pray for life
That wretched harbor of mercy
Philosophical-madness and lies
Free will for the foolish
Free wine for the drunk
Forgiveness for the faint-hearted
as the hypocrisy had always stunk
The very gods you pray to, are the ones that keep you blind
It is pain and fear, not love, that keep flesh and soul in bind
Make me an offer, that I may fulfill
To have just a taste, and control your free will
