Happy Father’s Day 2019 to All TCE Fathers

Happy Father’s Day 2019 to All TCE Fathers …

Happy Father's Day 2019 to All TCE Fathers
From that first moment …

I am running a bit late for these wishes, forgive me, please – I have not forgotten you.

Eric, with his wonderful Bees and Sky poem, has inspired me to write an acrostic, something I have not done in quite some time. Hope you all enjoy it.

Happy Father’s Day 2019 to all TCE fathers,
All best wishes to you,
Pause on this special day and take time for yourself,
Perhaps to enjoy all the love and hugs you will receive,
You are special in the eyes and hearts of your loved ones.

Forever remember that you are a guide, mentor, buddy and hero
And taught your children so much,
To take their first steps and show them
How to take the best path in life,
Even if that path is not the same as yours,
Remember, you taught them to think for themselves and be
Strong enough to have faith in themselves.

Dads are created through a special bond of love
As your children grow and learn from
You, every day of their life.

This is a divine gift you have received,
Over the years it may not always be sunshine and roses,

At times it may not even be fun,
Let yourself flow with life, accept all the changes, and
Live every moment of it.

Teach your children well,
Children will remember what you teach them,
Even if it takes a long time, they will remember.

Forgive them if they err or stray from their right path,
Always let them know you love them,
They depend on you to keep arms and heart open,
Happiness comes from love, the love will be for all
Eternity, for that bond continues on
Relentlessly through all time.
Sincere best wishes for a Happy Father’s Day 2019 to all TCE fathers.

Dads, you are special
All the days of your life,
You are blessed.

I have always liked to write. It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions. Thank you for visiting.

A heartfelt gift of words, Phyllis as you commemorate yet another ‘Father’s Day’. They come so quickly. Lovely sentiment and thank you on behalf of all fathers who happen also to be writers. Take care.

Fantastic. My elder children say “I learn more from your mistakes than your lectures”. And I learned more here from your lack of mistakes. Thank you.
