Because of You…
Because of you…
Sentiments filled with empty plight
And butterflies… tons of butterflies.
Butterflies that go soaring at first sight.
This rapport started
In quiescent repose, patient,
Longing for someone to share it with,
To fill that spot that was always vacant.
Be patient, real patient I said,
A blind trust into nascency,
Unwritten faith for conflating souls
Steps taken into gallantry.
Too fast, no, nice and slow,
First a smile, in nestled dimples
To the curvature that is elation,
How that smile of yours is a full body impulse.
In dedication..
To happiness, and butterflies,
To flipping the bird to the world,
To the wonderment of the sky.
And you…
Eclipsing all of those emotions
How the nerve endings in my hands
Are captivated by your skin
Now like the sun…
I rise each morning filled with a penchant
For life, for love, for everyday
To start and end resplendent
Because of you…
