Winds of Change Coming – Grey Men Everywhere

Winds of change are blowing

You know the kind I speak of…

Grey skies full of mystery

Silvery clouds hanging lifelessly

Everything somehow distorted

As if dipped in a metallic coating

Reflecting but not really shiny

A heavy coolness settling in

Gone are the rosy hues of red

Yellow, white, but especially orange

Some might say something comes

Something wicked or worse

Wearing a invincible armor

Pallor and ghastly to the eye

Yet beyond actual sight of the eye

A visionary feeling of sadness

One somehow brought to life

By the changing gusts of wind

Winds of change whispering

Slipping a deadly honey potion

Into the ears of the unprotected

Extracting the passion of thought

Destroying the will of freedom

Stripping out the colors

Until nothing but grey remains….

Wandering aimlessly and unintentional

Mechanized programmed speeches

Monotone and without feeling

Repetition and more repetition

Standing by for something

Waiting idly while numbers grow

Masses huddled in limbo

Activation a certainty

Stone faces with solid lines

Waiting for the go codes to engage

Never questioning authority

Obeying without question

Speaking in horrific unison

But only saying what they are told

Repeat, repeat, and repeat again

The message only matters

Support and report

Single out the red hat people

Report and surveille

Vacant eyes always watching

Silent otherwise

Do what they are told

When they are told

Follow Orders

Without question

Without question

Without question

Without…..

Whoa! Mysterious and very pensive. Well phrased to plant seeds of expectation and curiosity. Great work, Ralph.

Nice work Ralph, and there is definitely an expectancy of change, as so much stirring and contention grips the country. I just hope it works out for the better and Clinton is finally silenced and out of contention. Cheers!

Thought provoking, without question. Seeds of change have been planted. Now we have to water and nurture them.
