Human is My Name – Being is My Existence

Human is my name
Being is my existence
My essence is permanent
And yet mysteriously fluid
Without classification
Or measurement
Described as perfection
At every moment in time
While shifting constantly
Spatially, always abstract
Conceptual construction
Supported by free will alone
Perpetual motion
Holding still occasionally
While I smile at the world
Admire the other beings
In their permanence
Focused on everything
And nothing at all
Each different reflection
Of shimmering radiance
Spreading colorfully
Across their own liquidity
While my stillness
Surrenders its anchor
And drifts aimlessly
Directionless but not lost
Through my own imagination

I write about everything and sometimes nothing at all. I'm fascinated by old things, rusty things, abandoned places, or anywhere that a secret might be unearthed. I'm passionate about history and many of my pieces are anchored in one concept of time or another. I've always been a writer, dating back to my youth, but the last decade has been a time of growth for me. I'm continually pushing the limitations of vocabulary, syntax, and descriptive phrasing.
