How Tender

How Tender
How Tender

How tender your gaze,
alive with unspoken truth,
pleading eyes let hearts reveal,
the stirring emotions
of a soul surrendered.

In love serenity permeates life,
dulls the harsh edges
and uplifts the will of right,
the path of contentment
and the joy of being.

How delicate your touch,
alive with meaning and intent,
exploring flesh and mind
in the beauty of expression,
the rapture of melding hearts.

In love hurt falls away,
a lost and lonely experience,
a homeless and sad regret,
alive in a lower world,
a distant past.

How joyous the sharing,
of hearts devout in life,
accepting of the gift of being
and together finding meaning
in each others soul.

In love, life is found.
