A Chosen Artistry in Life

A Chosen Artistry in Life

The artistry in dealing with life comes from acceptance,
understanding that our will is so easily compromised
by life’s flow and the consequences
of our own thinking,
which creates the blockages and resistance
we so often experience.

The art is a finely tuned knowing,
as egos can be the seeding of our failure,
when pride and arrogance lead us to states of discord
that, in turn, create consequences of ill,
obstacles designed for our learning
and the cessation of pushing.

This art is a lifetime study,
no secrets whispered to fulfill our dreams
but work on a daily basis,
observation and experiences that teach us how life works,
the scope of our influence and the repercussions
of our thoughts and deeds.

There are few masters of this art,
many who may think they are,
but in reality, most souls are learning,
not on this earthly plain otherwise,
so answers don’t always come from gurus,
a religion or philosophy, but from within us,
where innate knowledge awaits our seeking.

The art begins with humility and acceptance,
an understanding we are apart of eternity,
souls in learning and discerning our fate,
so that we may aspire to be better in life,
clearer about who we are and who we can become,
with patience and an open heart.

Secondly, the art is practiced by awareness,
observations about ourselves,
our faults, our talents, and innate propensities
must be understood and our motives
for thought and action identified and honed
within life’s successions of experience.

When indeed we follow our path with opened eyes,
we become aware, our knowledge leads us
to better pathways of understanding and discovery,
inadvertently transforming our random lives
into considered choices and directions,
all in a calm and humble manner.

For those unwilling to sacrifice their minds
to this pursuit, no harm comes,
just a play of life with different learning,
for each soul travels at their own pace and acceptance,
slowly evolving as we all do in life,
and many times over.

To become a master of the art of life takes constant awareness of our self, the way we think, an open heart and so much more. I am not a master of this artistry, yet have an open heart and the will to keep learning. You are a good teacher, Tony, and I learn from excellent works of yours. I so appreciate this. Take care dear friend.
