Realizing Potential
Innately carried within each human soul,
the potential of the divine,
a seed of extraordinary possibility,
and in acknowledging it we give credence to its rising,
the realization of its gift within our lives.
Creation is with intent, a divine spark if you will,
seeded with possibilities
infinitely woven in physical being,
and it is our choice to engender them or not
as we travail our life’s path.
The divine within is the potential of love,
our greatest accomplishment as a learning soul,
and following the ideals of love
we follow a spiritual path of ascendancy,
in learning and practicing all associated with love’s grace.
It is not a religious life but a spiritual one,
where our thoughts and actions attribute to the ideals of love:
empathy, compassion and kindness,
that transform the labor of an ordinary life
to the selfless giving of an evolving soul.
Not everyone is yet capable of such a life,
yet in our aspirations we grow,
as our circumstances evolve also,
leading us to more practiced and harmonious ways to live,
and with a heart at peace, we find serenity.
We can accomplish far more on this earthly plane
should we attest to a more spiritual life,
as this recognition of the beauty and flow of life
is filled with reward and wonder,
and once glimpsed, we can never return to blindness.
In essence there is no wrong, no right,
just the flow of life that in consequence
follows each thought and action we decide,
but in truth it is right that upholds the ideals of love and harmony,
and in that our lives are better for that knowledge.
A peaceful heart brings clarity to a mind,
a intuitive sense of correct movement
that helps in our growth, our learning
and the bettering of our physical and emotional lives,
guided by a spiritual belief and innate purpose.
