Love’s Sweet Release

Love's Sweet Release
Love’s Sweet Release

Oh sweet release,
when love’s nurture sets us free,
and in the arms of love we surrender
to all the doubts we had,
when love was just a spoken word,
its truth was never said.

Within its pure and forgiving heart,
love does meld our intentions vast,
and all the dreams we’ve ever known,
somehow fall into our laps and own
our longing soul complete,
now found in visions deep.

And skies become an endless rhyme,
clouds the words of whisper,
eased across infinity,
endless worlds an affinity we feel,
as everything reveals the love
now glowing in our hearts.

As place is found within a life,
purpose driven to pursue,
as love moulds all our fantasies,
and experience become whole and true,
for in beauty’s embrace we face
a different world.

Freedom marks our days now sweet,
honeysuckle drifting on a breeze,
becomes the focus of our plight,
each nuance and hue in life
suddenly so profound,
as the rise and fall of days crowns our being.

Each touch and word of love attests,
the beguiling nature of kindness,
and passion marks each moment sought,
en-wrapped in thoughts of adoration
and the yearning of our hearts,
attuned and so adept.

Love’s vision is like no other,
given freely, shared incessantly,
and the peace we feel inside us
cannot ever be explained,
for it is a divine refrain of joy
in all its ways of being.

When love has fallen we are bereft,
suffering the pangs of loss,
until our hearts are ignited again,
our lives in the shadow of the cost,
for when love imbues a life,
there is no other maxim,
no greater feat of experience.

This is absolutely beautiful, Tony. So beautiful I cannot think of all the divine words to attach to it, for I am numbed by its beauty. Exceptional work, indeed. Kudos.

Your descriptive verses of love is truly an artist’s palette. It is not love that fails, it is always there waiting for two hearts to find it and when they do a collision occurs in two spirits forever longing for one another, nourishing on each others depths of feelings. It’s a catalyst that binds us as one and sweet love abides there. The longing for love never ends, it’s part of our DNA and requires tending like your favorite in our garden. Poetry has flourished with love throughout the centuries and will always. Your verses are magnificently tender and beautiful Tony. They make one yearn for love’s sweet embrace. Kudos, excellent work.

Just wonderful. A poetic look on love that we experience that not always offers a happy ending.
