His Delight

His Delight …

He tried in every way,

to take away her tears,

when she cried –

it seemed like the skies cried too.

Every sunny day,

was like a new way,

to say I love you

and they both sure did.

When he saw her smile,

it seemed like the world –

was smiling too.

She was his world

and his delight so true.

Every sunrise,

was a new day to rejoice,

a new day to live with love.

Every sunset,

he knew that the night –

would be cozy just for two.

Together they made everything,

so much better than before.

He made sure,

that she had flowers every day,

a reason to smile –

basking in the love they shared.

When the days turned gloomy and gray,

when her eyes clouded over,

he was there to wipe the tears,

from her eyes.

He never liked to see her sad,

but life is like that,

not every day can be sunny –

not every day can bring gladness.

So when the rainy days came,

he made sure to hold her,

to love her and kiss her,

until the sun –

brought out the rainbow

and she was smiling once more.

He often wondered,

how it could be,

that when he was with her,

there seemed to be music everywhere,

there seemed to be so many things –

that seemed so light and gay.

Never a day,

passed by that his heart,

didn’t beat just for her

and when she cuddled up real close,

he felt like he was in paradise,

she was his heaven sent angel,

here on earth to make life bearable –

her eyes reflected her angelic soul from within,

so he was in paradise to stay –

their love was just that way!

Love is such a splendor indeed. We all crave for it, need it and when found we relish in it. Yet it could be so fleeting, but we always go on to find another love. Well penned Rasma, it gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling, for I love to be loved too.
