Who Comes in the Name of Malice

Who Comes in the Name of Malice
Who Comes in the Name of Malice

Who comes to thieve my mind,
take piece by piece in kind and flood it with lies,
and all the time cognizant of the damaging intent,
the malice of trying to undo a life;
and I cannot see a reason,
cannot accept the seasons of ill-content,
frozen winds and fire’s rampant,
unleashed in revenge for something imagined,
for I have done nothing to you,
just your own circumstance that ensues
to reveal your own ineptitude,
your own failings in truth.

Who comes to take from me my life,
those with whom I share my love,
I, so slandered completely by
your lies that commanded a parting,
and so I lose my friends, unhinged by revenge
and the bitter, soured emerald of your envy,
set free to hurt in every degree,
regardless of truth or anyone else,
a symptom of your disease,
your blind misgivings about yourself,
and the skewed perceptions of life,
seen through tainted eyes.

I see no remorse, no awareness at all,
stalled in the malicious play you sought,
and you are the wronged, the victim,
I, the bane of your existence,
because I found favor and you could not,
thus I the wrong doer, the reason of all you’re not,
displaced, your crimes upon my shoulders
and blame your wielded blade,
as spite tries to destroy what you can’t face,
the truth too repulsive so a created ruse
to placate your internal denial,
a match to your funeral pyre.

Who tries to deny me my own mind,
circumstance just my life, my expression,
and yours in a direction unfounded and puerile,
for truth is not your banner,
malice the hammer of your woes,
and I in the middle, your target of comfort,
as your world crumbles,
your own words parting you from love and life,
all you tried to do to me,
your reverie a sad and lonely plea,
for someone to save you from yourself,
to heal the wounds you cannot face.

So much destruction can be caused by one person isnt it amazing. Someone with malcontent and hatred stewing in their hearts and souls. Someone so pathetic in their own life that they feel it is ok to screw up yours, someone who cant face themselves. Great work my friend.

Much appreciated Paul, glad you enjoyed the work; unfortunately I’ve had a few people like this in my life. I still don’t understand how someone can become like that. Cheers!
