In Search of …
Where destination covers and recovers
forming and reforming that goal
as predetermined domination hovers
attaining and retaining that which creates a whole
On paths which greedily lead so beyond
purchasing footsteps trod so free
woods of mental passions abscond
patterned from birth of sky to deep of sea
In search of what we forever seek
exists a longing to find, and yet,
easy essence to divine one barren peek
not to burnish and not to get
Eyes bear barren tears of reigning pain
listing throughout winds which caress
pounding feel of lurking lurid rain
where nothing in reality does possess
Above mountain’s white winter nod
where perhaps elusive pensions perch
before and beyond the Hand of God
legs that surface of for what we search
