It’s All About The Story …
As sun’s glow descends, traversing horizon’s grasp
flowing beyond edges combined, bringing eternal colors deeply into play
at darkness’ entreat hands of light caress those of darkness
playing one single trumpet of submission to nighttime’s peace
Paths so slowly trod by footsteps are caught up in freeing somber
where their owner glides through a calling mist of darkness
One long lost soul born in magnificence, returned to passive plurality
is brought to elusive joy in an aged mind
taught of life caught by passion
where glorious words play in wonderful cadence
As night’s hands join together in sweet caress over darkening skies
celestial sparks twinkle and blink, possessing their corners of the heavens,
this sweetly wizened guide of the night’s wares
passes through an ancient wood, as though they are nearest and dearest friends
Sparkling in the dark of night, the storyteller’s long full beard blows
inside some slightly pursed breeze carrying itself through on it’s way elsewhere
Slowly, ever tenderly, this man of knowledge enters his dimly moonlit circle
of carefully set seats carved from massive trunks of trees
as the center fire catches from ignited coals
his face glows inside night’s ever darkening essence
Through forest’s imaginary lives, ever stealthily and reverently
a somber multitude of feet trod paths so well known
Eyes shine with multi colored glee as they search the night
coming to rest upon this majestic man’s countenance
Eyes of intense wonder frame him, as passing roaming feet
flood their hosts through, calmly sitting them in awe
of the spectacle to be presented.
In an aura of hushed majesty, he begins…
“It’s all about the story”
