A Perspective Bite

A Perspective Bite
A Perspective Bite

Ruptured colors bleed in profuse rainbows,
skies just a canvas for the carnage of light inspired,
and suns and moons rise and fall in iterative style,
as if time’s bleating cries do release from spires high,
the radiations of gasping life.

Melting flesh and wandering eyes,
despise the flow of melting snow,
colored in crayon hues of multicolored views of life,
from strife to bloody rage all staged for the show,
the technicality of bleeding out, devout.

Trees in season’s twist do risk their leaves,
shoots grown green, dried and fallen, frozen
and sunlit to perfection, rise and fall in every direction,
relieved with each transformation,
life’s indication of non-complacency.

Mountains grow to summits high,
like pointed breasts, jagged and dangerous,
white capped and brown with every color free
as vast evergreens rise like sentinels upon the rise,
forests of tethered life melding in colored compromise.

Blurred the humanity in motion,
so angry, yet muted and grey in mind,
walking the cement heavens of green-less sterile pyres,
death before its time, colored tints so vilified by nature’s call
all feasting on the avarice of selfish tall revival.

What is whole then,
as bloodless souls wander vacant upon the gravel,
obstacles ignored by ignorant eyes,
aspire not to any dream inspired,
rather wallowing in the tones of winter’s death knell?

Half lives strewn like refuse
assume a path an ending process,
yet what hold do they have when blind to light,
their lackluster paradise but a grey parade,
a dull shade of back, hacked down to its facts.

Ruptured the colours of light, unseen by most,
a host to melded life released, uncompromising and deceased,
through ghostly eyes the beast, what lays within
a resistant feast of truths untold,
a master stroke of reality, a causality of love.

A remarkable use of colors and phrasing to paint a vivid image of an existence where “bloodless souls wander” in an unreal other world, a “dull shade of black” permeates a land devoid of warmth and love. Excellent work Tony.
