The Potential Within Us
Tranquil the hearts of surrender,
when love’s acceptance does quell the doubts
and immersed in passion’s plea,
we discover what life is all about, love,
our greatest feat and highest ideal.
Each moment a bliss unknown,
when love’s eyes seek deeper,
together a redemption from being alone,
and a blessing of life’s possibility,
sewn into minds yet to be fulfilled.
Flesh but a delicate sensory thrill,
warmth of heart and soul instilled
with promises of undying grace,
like a delicate lace of intricacy
two souls in discovery, attest.
And moments last forever,
time in a frozen state, as moonlight hues
invite the very gates of heaven,
and earthly life will never be the same again,
bound within a paradigm so driven.
As if in the flow of evolving clouds,
beauty dressed and softest nest,
to watch the world go round,
the ebbs and rises of days and nights
like time in beat, profound.
In an unrelenting embrace,
where being apart life is not the same,
and melded souls complete,
ask nothing from the mortal world,
just left alone to be.
For love’s ardor is strong,
the spark of life woven within its very being,
and once held cannot be released,
for it is all we are,
and we its proffered dream.
Tranquil the hearts of surrender,
the souls who choose to live in bliss,
for giving is just as sweet as holding,
within loves eternal potential
we cannot fall, for it lives within us, exists.
