The Futility of Negativism

The Futility of Negativism
The Futility of Negativism

Futile, the convincing of resolute negativity,
for the soul learns not to be compassionate
in order to rise to blame,
to relinquish responsibility of self
and create a stance of arrogant betterment.

Yet the claiming of betterment is both prideful and futile,
for it is subjective and those who proffer the negative
are themselves ignorant,
and unaware of their delusion,
set in place for the ego’s protection.

It is said ‘for those who believe no proof is necessary,
for those who do not, no proof is possible’
a platitude of worth as the negative
infiltrates a mind to its detriment,
so easy to blame rather than accept responsibility.

We have choices, we design our paths
dependent upon the decisions we make,
the circumstances we create
and the ramification of those circumstances,
all of which impacts our lives to a great extent.

As a vessel of negativity, we attract all manner of strife,
a product of the imbalance we produce,
and when we stand by negativity as a way
to live and thus create our path in life,
we invite the chaos of ramifications.

Because those who choose negativity
as a way of living, they soon become unaware of this plight,
further blaming and playing the victim
as a way of being in the spotlight,
but they bite off more than they can chew.

Thus the cycle goes around and around,
they in belief of their righteousness
and the victimization with which they are burdened,
all of which is by their own hand,
and to their continuing impairment.

Negativism is a downward spiral,
a vortex that becomes reality, believed and trusted
by those lost to delusions of superiority and morality,
so afflicted by their own judgement,
they cannot see their personal downfall.
