When Reality Finds its Place

When Reality Finds its Place
When Reality Finds its Place

Change is an imposing state of heart,
when love is torn and loss is all there is,
but in a righteous direction,
a knowing start to yet another path in life, a new journey.

Often seen as dismal failure,
inflicted pain and love’s rejection,
few know when change is needed,
cannot see the wisdom in its perceived torment,
but necessity drives a knowing mind.

To that mind, change must be,
for without it crisis gathers far too much pain,
and in not acknowledging necessity,
we create far worse circumstances
and change more devastating.

From a naive viewpoint
rejected love seems harsh indeed,
and the hurt exceeds its due, but
in our hearts we know what’s needed,
and leaving is often the kindest way
to alleviate what could be, later.

Someone leaving could be transformative,
and even for those deserted
a chance to change for the better,
even though the mind is clouded with hurt,
one day to see the wisdom.

No-one wants to hurt anyone deliberately,
and where love bloomed is sacred,
yet often time moves us on,
for what could go wrong is worse,
and in that way we save ourselves.

Kindness can sometimes seem cruel,
but it is not, just a greater understanding
of life’s movement, its direction,
and holding onto stagnation hurts both souls worse,
when reality finds its place.

Very well stated life lesson Tony, and inspirational. Kindness sometimes has a far-reaching purpose and may not be understood right away, yet kindness is to help one grow spiritually. Great work.

Such wise words dear Tony. I know a married couple who parted ways recently. The sad thing is both of them were very nice people when taken individually but for whatever reason, they couldn’t make the relationship work. And as you said, after the initial hurt and depression both of them have moved on and are now doing quite well. Yes, sometimes it is kinder to end a relationship that doesn’t seem to be working out rather than making day to day life a hell for both parties involved. Thank you so much for sharing your thought provoking words..

So glad you related Anjana, our lives can be so often clouded by emotions and confusion in relationships, but kindness show us what’s needed. Cheers!
