CHRISTMAS MESSAGE 2017
Christmas is a Christian holiday and celebration, but it has become more than that. I am not religious but for me it is a time for giving of yourself, of sharing and giving thanks for what we have in life and how we choose to live.
I embrace spirituality, a moral sense of living and respecting others for how they live and whatever they believe. To me life is about learning and growing and if we choose to live with kindness and have love as a paradigm, then the details of any religion become less important.
We are all different, in our thoughts, culture and beliefs, yet we are all the same in this earthly life, souls adrift, learning and growing within often harsh and difficult circumstance. No matter what we have I believe we should be grateful, and appreciate all that is set before us in learning and opportunity. Also we should look to one another in brother/sisterhood, as we share this journey together.
Whatever Christmas means to you I wish all my friends and readers a wonderful holiday filled with giving, sharing and love, and hope that our dreams of peace on earth will come to fruition. Family is paramount for me, and not just blood but those who are soul family, those who mean so much and hold a special place in our hearts.
May your Christmas be rich in kindness and the giving of yourself to those whom we love but also strangers who need to know love lives here on planet earth.
