Enchanting journey

Enchanting journey

enchanting journeyIn the quiet moments of your dusky skies
I come alive  in the changing and fluid colors
In the dark approaching evening
I listen to your history and hear the cries

Even  these enchanting  moments tell lies just to forget
the tragedy the bloodshed
Tonight though I look to your  colors as if a lady
of magic instead

Let us forget the history and think only
of dreams and our tomorrows
We’ll forget  about the things we know
let lose all those  sorrows

Tonight I will fall in love with  your skies
and clouds forever more
I will lose myself in your mountains and canyons
until we awaken renewed  once more

Sometime in my life I started to write about my life journey , in poetry, in storyperhaps to sort them out and enter them intoa place of safe keeping . The soul of the writeris perhaps best described in their words , emotions and thoughts . If these poemsor stories touch something inside youthen maybe I have succeeded in sharing . I will not write about my selfin profile , because self isn't so important in writing . Only the journey in wordsandthe sharing areimportant . Why would weever say " Now about me !"........I'd rather write about life , nature , serenity ........

Nicely penned Ed, and natures work is so inspiring, regardless of human history. Well worded and structured my friend. Cheers!

Ed, this is so beautiful. Big, open sky, nature, colors, it is all there, and all enchanting. I really like this poem. Great work my friend. Take care.
