Dream Sweetly Dear Friend

Dream Sweetly Dear Friend

When you lay your head upon the pillow, dream sweetly of me,
As I dream of you, dear friend, with a love flowing like a mist,
Much like a cool soft breeze, which caresses your cheek tenderly,
As if a woodland faerie so lightly placed there a sweet kiss.

May visions of all which brings you peace be with you in slumber,
As your spirit floats above the clouds and over all the land
You so love, places where you find serenity and beauty,
Special nooks in forests of perfection shaped by the Mother’s hand.

May the Heavens cover you softly with the deepest of love,
As your spirit soars among stars twinkling so like diamonds,
And the moon smiles upon you with celestial beauty,
And guides you safely as you fly among your peaceful night time.

Roots of our special friendship are deep, so never do we fear,
The winds which could uproot us as they sail by without harm,
For our love and comforting lasting support of each other,
Is stronger than negative intentions and we remain calm.

It is ever my greatest wish we remain friends forever,
Even beyond life on Earth when we enter eternity’s
Grace, where we will gloriously always be blessed with the gift,
Of such a wonderful time we enjoy so delightfully.

For as long as celestial stars shine may our friendship last,
If by chance you swing on a star and see me dancing on mine,
Do hop over so we can talk about cherished memories,
We created since when the newness of us began sublime.

I am an author on TCE and write mainly in poetry and short stories. I have always liked to write. It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions. I began writing content online in 2007, starting with BellaOnline - A Voice For Women, where I was the Native American Editor, Folklore & Mythology Editor, and the Appalachian Editor. I also wrote articles for The Examiner, Daily Two Cents, and Yahoo. I am currently an author on HubPages. Most of what I write takes a lot of research and I love it. Even if it is a fictional story, I will research for accuracy in whatever it takes to make my characters, their era, their location, etc. become realistic to the reader. I hope you enjoy my works. Thank you for visiting.
