Tender is the night,
the sweet breath of love’s regalement,
hearts melded, entwined in splendor,
and lips poised for sacred touch,
imbue the passion of seductive hearts.
Thoughts fall like summer rain,
warm and wet in swallowed streams,
where passion’s ilk is bound in reams
of unsaid words and feelings spilled,
to glean our every dream.
Torrid sheets all wrapped in glee,
rampant heights of ecstasy,
saturate the chamber bed,
writhing flows and sigh filled ebbs
do echo in the space held by two.
Tracing skin all flushed and alive,
pictures drawn and laughter thrive,
as mellow makes the night so fluid,
clouds of softness, senses lucid
as time deserts the moment.
And gentle kisses on bodies done,
do heal all ills and shared as one,
embrace our all in love’s cascade,
a bubble honed in sanctity’s name,
two souls cannot be parted.
And tender night does glisten,
moon and stars attest and listen,
to lover’s words of commitment,
their hearts open and blessed,
released from that prison of alone.
And as sun aspires to raise its smiling face,
upon a blue of such eternal grace,
entwined in body and of mind,
two lovers be in space and time,
together in infinite embrace.
