Tender Kisses

Tender Kisses – Sometimes fate and destiny puts huge barriers in place that make those that care and love each other difficult to be together. It is usually time and distance that make loving each other – an almost impossibility. Regardless of how much distance and time has been put in between two hearts that desire each other – you still love from a distance forever. More often than not that person that holds the key to your soul will invade your dreams.

“Tender Kisses”
In the dark of night you and only you invade my dreams,
Only you – can’t ponder on anything else or so it seems.

Out of the darkness of night – and into the faded light,
Floating silently in the mist of my dreams – you take flight.

Lingering perfume and promise’s as you get closer to me,
Loving and caressing into my arms you and I become – we.

Romance is our tender kiss with a lingering promise of more to come,
Giving in to our hearts wants – our hearts beat of the very same drum.

In the dream we cannot speak from the craving of the night,
All there is are moist, tender kisses – while I hold you tight.

If this is love, don’t speak; kisses are all that are needed,
You and I as one – our loneliness forever has been cheated.

It is the passion of a tender kiss that gives to it – its sweetness,
Tender kisses and the desire leaves our voices speechless.

Intimacy, longing and tenderer kisses – as I look in your eye,
Every time in all my dreams of the beautiful you, time begins to fly.

Just before daylight you slowly fade away into the dying night,
Dawn starts to break, and the eastern horizon sun becomes bright.

Minutes to hours, in the sunlight of the full day I begin to miss,
Thoughts of you – going to bed early to dream of our tender kiss.

Thank you Phyllis, for taking the time to stop by and read what is in my heart. I have never been good of not showing my heart desire. Not sure if that is a good thing or not.

Thanks Paul – As you probably know wearing your heart on you sleeve sometimes is not a good thing, but hey it is who we are.

To be as expressive in art and verse as you show us in this very loving romantic piece is simply a man rendering his heart to his lover and love of his life. Some of us hold within, our truest feelings, yet when the time is right, we gush like a rushing well overflowing with depth of feeling. Sir you have here expressed those feelings. I admire that very much. Bravo, well penned.
