The Beauty of Purpose
The beauty of purpose
surrounds us in the rendering of life,
its every facet a miracle,
and the perfection of its expression
is so beguiling I cannot fathom
the intricacy of purpose in its sustaining,
the processes that not only ensures being,
but provides a path of evolving,
and adapting to change.
Life is like a seed,
inherently filled with every possibility
that life affords, all neatly wrapped
into one vessel of potential,
and all events of expectation
are measured and in contingency
an allowance for survival,
all intrinsically beautiful in form and process,
for open eyes to witness.
The hand of omniscience
lives in every cell,
and every substance, shape and form
echoes with sound intent,
the purpose of life,
the longevity and transformation
of each form a testament
to this purpose, and
the legacy of immortality.
In awe I remain,
for life when questioned
is beyond our understanding,
and we, in transition, learn,
that life is far more complex
than we are capable of knowing,
yet with open eyes
we may witness the miracles
and with gratitude accept this opportunity.
Purpose is plain, to grow,
to transform, to adapt to higher potential,
and in first finding a spiritual path,
we begin that journey,
and sight then expands,
understanding pervades our empty lives
and we are transformed and ascend
to a higher consciousness,
realizing our seed-like potentiality.

Wonderful thoughts and excellent phrasing, Tony. Life is complex, but when we know our purpose as you stated in your last stanza, then life is beautiful. Well done, dear poet.
Much appreciated Phyllis, glad you enjoyed my thoughts. Cheers!
