Sincere Kindness and Love – Acrostic

Sincere Kindness and Love

sincere kindness

Sincere kindness and love is something I see a lot of on The Creative Exiles and it warms my heart. It never ceases to amaze me how much TCE authors express support and respect for each other. This has prompted me to write my first acrostic poem.

Kindness goes a long way in helping others
Instill good thoughts about themselves,
Never be afraid to open your heart to
Deliver kind words and thoughts
Namaste is a good greeting to give
Ernesttly to all who pass through your day,
Since everyone may be in need of a kind word,
Spirits are lifted when one knows you care,

And it can make a positive difference when
Nothing is going right for someone,
During a time of doubt and confusion.

Love is what the world needs more of,
Over and above all else,
Verily a sincere kindness will be
Easily recognized and welcomed.

I am an author on TCE and write mainly in poetry and short stories. I have always liked to write. It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions. I began writing content online in 2007, starting with BellaOnline - A Voice For Women, where I was the Native American Editor, Folklore & Mythology Editor, and the Appalachian Editor. I also wrote articles for The Examiner, Daily Two Cents, and Yahoo. I am currently an author on HubPages. Most of what I write takes a lot of research and I love it. Even if it is a fictional story, I will research for accuracy in whatever it takes to make my characters, their era, their location, etc. become realistic to the reader. I hope you enjoy my works. Thank you for visiting.

Well expressed with deep meaning. Love and kindness binds us together, without it, we struggle in our skin and our souls. Since watching the two devastating hurricanes and flooding in Texas and Florida, my heart is aching for those poor people who have lost everything and yet help one another. Nothing like a disaster to pull people together, no matter the skin color or race. It’s then we truly see the humanity come out of us humans. Our exterior will boast hardness and callousness at times, but when we are hurting like that, humans seem to bond to each others plights. I agree with you Phyllis there is much kindness, thoughtfulness, heart, sincerity and love from members of TCE. We are writers/poets with a lot of heart, empathy, sympathy and kindness. Thank you for sharing your feelings, they are meaningful my friend.

You are most welcome, Vincent. I thank you for reading and commenting. Your insight to the power of humanity after disasters hit is noble. I am so thankful you find my expression of feelings meaningful. Thank you, Vincent.

Nicely said Phyllis and Yes I believe that kindness is the start to a spiritual journey and uplifting to higher consciousness. Its is the small things that make our day, a kind word of support of just a friendship that a person knows is there and they have backup. There is so much reward from kindness and being loving and open, yet so many people are afraid to be vulnerable. Well penned and spot on, my friend.
