One, Before Eternity

One, Before Eternity
One, Before Eternity

Tell me,
whisper close to my ear,
so I may feel your warm breath,
your moist full lips
spilling words of understanding,
felt so deeply
within my inner most secrets,
where truths dust thoughts
I can barely admit,
and where I, so naked of doubts,
seek your touch to placate
my remaining fears.

when you decide,
let me quell your reservations,
and deliver you to freedom’s side,
where flesh does meld
and hips do writhe,
mind ascending
in such a blissful ride, released
like flighted doves in endless blue,
what wonder we will share,
me and you,
in loves eternal embrace.

Tell me,
in words so laced with desire,
I could transpire before I’m through,
savoring your every inch of flesh,
your caverns deep and arching back
as if rising half to heaven’s breach,
gasping breath, held to etch
that rapture in time’s recall,
as thoughts just explode,
and speeding hits the wall,
no recall just a bed of clouds
to rest your weary head.

lay with me,
my embrace to keep you always,
in heart and soul, my whole essence
is within you,
and we are one before eternity,
standing together,
to endure.

” we are one before eternity,
    standing together,
    to endure.”

Beautiful. If only I could be so blessed to receive that before this life is over, I would stand with that love, steadfast, honest, and endure for eternity. A masterful penning of love in eternal bliss. Great work, Tony.

Love at its finest, epic words my friend. We all desire such a love in our lives to make us complete. Yet love is often fleeting, coming and going like a winter’s cold frost. Yet, when we are absorbed in it with our soul mate, nothing on earth could move us from it. We are in sync, in tune and totally consumed for eternity. This is a sensuous poem Tony, celebrated by your mastery . Cheers…

Thank you Vincent, so pleased you enjoyed it. I don’t do a lot of romantic poems but every now and then the souls requires it, my muse is insistent. lol Appreciate your kind words my friend.
