Looking for the Beauty…the Power of Light

Looking for Beauty...the Power of Light
Looking for Beauty…the Power of Light

With eyes to see the beauty,
what need to see the darkness,
yet acknowledge we must all degrees of life,
and in that, darkness has a part,
yet to choose the light,
to discover the beauty within humanity
is a far greater perspective to invest,
and whilst aware of the ploys of darkness,
we may through light illuminate the truth,
as darkness cannot abide.

Deeply flawed, humanity
will be lost until found, until
a higher expectation is sought,
free from greed and material things,
to find solace in a spiritual higher thought,
that will delver the joy of life,
and in sharing what we aught to feel,
not the fear and apprehension of uncertainty,
but the acceptance of love
and the understanding of perpetuity.

The only thing that may rise above darkness
is light, and even against odds,
light will prevail
if we do not fall to the negative,
the ploys of those invested
in evil and greed and oppression,
for they will fall by their own hands,
as is the movement of balance,
and the more we hold onto hope and the light
the quicker their demise will come.

So no matter how dire the world appears,
light will vanquish dark souls,
for their weapons are base tools of evil,
and humanity’s path is ascension
to higher realms of spiritual awareness,
and as we gather in love, hand in hand,
so the darkness will fall,
and paradise can be our dreams fulfilled,
on earth and beyond
this mortal coil.

Beautifully penned wisdom of the ages, Tony.

    I have faith in this:

    “humanity’s path is ascension
to higher realms of spiritual awareness,
and as we gather in love, hand in hand,
    so the darkness will fall,”

Even in our depths of despair, gripped by hands pulling us to our deepest Abyss, there is hope. The light will vanquish the darkest of shadows if we allow it. Dark powers are drawn to dark souls, they fight us constantly, hoping that the light attached to our inner souls will be extinguished by their powers. I try to find daily a light to keep me centered, yet too often, the darkness envelopes me. Like many a crack of light will reveal itself at our end, it’s up to us to let it enter our heart before we breathe our last. A very inspirational work my friend, welcome to the light, may you and I and many others always feel it’s presence in our darkest of moments on this plane.

Thanks Vincent, and yes, we all need to live in hope and within the light; its so easy to fall for the darkness within us. But regardless of what happens around our lives we must all stay strong, because one day the darkness will fall and humanity, I hope, will live in peace. Cheers!~

    Tony,

This poem is so full of hope, and is a joy to read.

I have always understood the nature of “human beings path being that of higher realms”, than that of such dark forces of evil. This is what I had always believed as a child, and I still do believe that “the higher path” is the soul’s desire.

Your poem is profoundly lovely, and very inspirational.

Much appreciated Tamara, pleased you found it so. The more we remain positive and live within the light the faster humanity will rise from the darkness we now endure. take care.
