To Know Just Who I Am

Where do I know the truth,
what source does quell my pangs of hunger,
lead me to resolutions
that cannot be denied in all my dreams:
’tis within me, the truth resides,
a part of all I am in discovery, that
which my knowing soul provides.
Seeking is our thirst,
to know, to clarify
the undulations of circumstance,
that often mislead directions,
with intersections of quandary
to make ripples upon our stream,
and confuse the resolutions we seek.
In the silence of stillness,
the serene acceptance of being,
we may see the stark and ostensible truth within,
the answers to our questions asked,
woven within us as a profound coupling,
question and answer, side by side,
all scenarios revealed.
To open that door, that sanctum within us,
is a revelation of knowing,
all that awaits us in self-realization,
the answers so attainable,
when we accept ourselves and acknowledge
the nature of our being,
the omniscient seed within.
I know the truth from within myself,
the very source of my being,
unconnected to my sins and mistakes,
more the reality of soul’s ache for transparency,
and if I can be open enough,
I can hold the truth in hand,
to help heal my faults and know just who I am.

To know ourselves is a wonderful journey of enlightenment, “to hold the truth in hand”. I love this verse, Tony. Very nicely penned.
