We The People Are Fed Up With Politics

We the People are Fed Up with Politics,

We’re weary of the Two Party System

Tired of the Pressure to Choose

Between one platform or the other

Tired of being Labelled and Categorized

Liberal, Conservative, Democrat, or Republican

We deserve Better as Citizens of America

We the People decide, not a Platform or Ideology

Government Overreach Strangling our Freedoms

Propagandists, Fake News, and Leaking

Agenda-Driven Legislation

Corruption and Cronyism

We’re tired of being classified and targeted

Skin color, hair color, sexuality, or geography

These are Not connected to politics

Stop trying to Divide and Conquer Us

We are citizens, not some foreign land mass

Government is established for the People

To Serve, Protect, and Enrich ALL Citizens

Not to wage War on some of the People

Under the False Flag of Continuity

Freedom Used to mean Something More

Our rights to make Choices are Our Own

Not something to be Managed by a Party

Why should we allow a Candidate to Run?

That puts their Political Party First?

Are they running for a Party Position?

Or are they running for an American position?

We aren’t here to be Lectured

By those with Nefarious Intentions

Those Hungry for Power

Freedom of Speech is being Silenced

By the Razor-Sharp Knife of Political Correctness

When Society is Broken, We Watch the Blame Game

Politicians shouting empty words

Politicians pointing to the Failures of Politicians

While We the People are Plied with Temporary False Hope

What happened to Compromise?

What happened to Working Together?

Has the Common Good been Secretly Replaced?

With the Political Party’s Success?

People are Under Attack for Supporting the Constitution

Laws are being Ignored for the Gains of a Few

Indoctrination has Replaced Education

Have we Abandoned our Values?

When did our Nation Cede Power to the Court System?

Are Term Limits the Answer?

Professional Politicians are Not the Answer

Why are our Leaders Trying to Rewrite our History?

We cannot Learn from the Past if we Hide it Away

America was Once a Nation of Patriots

People who grew Tired of Living under the Yoke of Tyranny

People who Fought and Died for Freedoms

Where are The Descendants of those Patriots?

Men and Women who Love their Country

Not their Political Party

We the People are Fed Up with Politics

When you can’t even read the news on-line without a fact-checker, pocket Constitution, and several sources of legal advice, you’ve reached political rock-bottom.

So well expressed Ralph, and not just in the USA, we all, citizens of the world are fed up with all the corruption and systems that were born to serve but do little more than imprison. All so true. great work.

You said it all here, Ralph. I question where democracy sits in all this. The people have to rise up as a united nation to find common ground and stand against tyranny and a political system that is out of touch. A great write.

I’m finding it difficult to remain involved in the politics of our nation when things are so blurry now. I want to see our leaders rise up above their petty partisan differences and work together for the common good; if America was a corporation, we’d be bankrupt (right behind Germany, France, the UK, Sweden, etc. – in fact the world)

Powerful work Ralph, I couldn’t agree more. It’s so frustrating to see how far removed politics has become from the common good of all people, regardless of party affiliation. So many great questions here, that shouldn’t need to be asked. I too find it difficult to get to any factual truths anymore, it has to change, we are all fed up with the debacle in washington. Very well done!

    Best,
    Mel
