Love Moves Mountains

Love Moves Mountains

love moves mountains
Calm your aching heart, find your balance

Calm your aching heart, for love moves mountains,
Put your mind to rest, and find your balance,
Brave the tempest, it can fill your fountains,
Let not the storms of life disturb your peace,
Look within, find your truths and be at ease,
For soon you will find you are surmounting
All your fears of expressing how you feel,
Because you know in your heart it is real.

Fear not and know it just takes some strong faith
In yourself and a knowing in your heart,
The need to express, honestly say it.
And have trust in the one you feel love for,
Without expectation of love requited.
Let the love you feel always be the part
Of the love you have for all creation,
For the beauty of nature’s relation.

I was given a high mountain to climb,
I was given a raging sea to cross,
Swirling tempest within told me this time
The storms of life will not bring me to loss.
For love within sings its eternal chyme,
And never will it give me thought to pause,
I know it’s of all the love within me
To see me well through all eternity.

I have always liked to write. It is important to me that I write with spirit and heart. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions. Thank you for visiting.
