Love Salutations Within My Soul

Love Salutations

love salutations

Love salutations are within my soul
As I lay in snuggled comfort in bed.
Dreams still lingering softly in my head
Darkness came oh so quietly and slow
To ease me down gently on evening last
Into deepest slumber and a sweet dream,
Where special love I have did brightly gleam,
As thoughts of deep love lay where they are cast
Deep within my soul and upon my heart.
Dream on my heart as you sweetly follow
Peaceful thoughts of the one who is so kind,
And led me to healing within that part
Of my soul which will now fully allow
Life to go on ever with peace of mind.

I have always liked to write. It is important to me that I write with spirit and heart. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions. Thank you for visiting.

Nicely penned and a heart-warming rendering Phyllis, flowing like an incoming tide, of love and a peaceful heart. Lovely work.
