We Have Become One Soul

One Soul

one soul

Tonight, my Love, we’ll sip the spark,

With the rhythm of our Heartbeats,

Floating on the magnetic waves of bliss;

On the topaz edifice of silence,

Enrapturing the inferno racing through our veins…

So come closer…

Touch, feel the ambrosial epistle of my verve;

The wafted muse of a bard’s poem may ignite,

Pulling the Heart’s chords,

Thus giving birth to a melodious song –

A song of yearning… of passion… of Love!

So come closer… more…

Let us drape ourselves in nature’s canopy

Where the silken aroma of mist

Pleasantly passes through our pores, and

We lie entwined, like two spirits,

Rustling forever in the ethereal sky…

So come closer… more… a bit more…

O sweet Lover! Be not afraid of the tiny shooting stars

That’s performing a ballet in our celebration;

Shh… listen to the soft lullaby serenade

As our love-soaked breaths uncontrollably

Transform into enticing kisses…

Ah! How we have become one Soul… one Soul!

    Nicely penned and emotive in its rendering of love. Some lovely original phrasing and world usage in this classic love poem with ethereal feel. Great work Surabhi.
