Ascendency to Transcendentalism – Sharing Space With Intellectualism
Ascent to transcendentalism
Measured categorically across humankind
With higher-thought beings well-placed among all classes and castes
Spiritual climbers with purposeful steps
The understood
Unity of all creation
Invisible bonds of connectivity
Sharing of energy
Enlightenment, the base philosophy
Cartographic in its interpretation
Those who lead forging eternal pathways
Followers developing
Widening
Expanding mentally
Writing, speaking, publishing, and always thinking
Defying the analytical communities
Differently
Respectfully
For logic holds a naked perfection
It’s laws superior to chaotic theorization
Rules valid in the realm of many compartmentalized disciplines
Yet lost and often surrendered
Are values without valuation
Measurements of the goodness of humankind
Worth of hands offering help
Exchange-rate of a shoulder meant for tears
Appraisal, perhaps too, a transcendent manifestation
Scales not developed
Charts uncharted and metric an unfamiliar term
The collision, imminent yet not expected
Spirit and logic, logic and spirit
Neither encroaching
For choosing common ground is a willful endeavor
A plain meant for combat awaits undisturbed and peaceful
Metaphysical versus mathematical
Differentiation at odds with divinity
Miracles considered statistical anomalies
Naturalization predictably, the predilection an inclination
Classification, experimentation, theorization
Yet, in conclusion
Mindful calculations unable to fathom
The superiority of spiritual vision over mere logic
And without ammunition nor a rationale means of engagement
No conflict arises
Intelligence divided but without negativity
Different communities
Always questioning
Engaging
Peacefully

To find balance between logic and spirituality is not an easy thing to do for many people. When it is a natural part of one’s life it makes for a peaceful life. Well done, Ralph. I really like this piece.
I wrote this for my wife (she is a professional palm reader) – over the weekend she was part of a psychic fair here in Idaho and I got to thinking about how the intellectual world and the world of spiritualists and natural healers seem to cohabitate without ever bothering one another.
Wonderfully written Ralph, as without imagination and creativity, there would be no innovation, no forward movement. Thoughts and the mind are little understood, and the spiritual path opens far more than science at a pinch. So in the end, both science and spiritual paths will cross in a foundation of truth. Yet, we are presently far from that. But it will happen.
